Allen has more than 35 years of strategic experience in the management of publicly-owned and high-profile private companies, which includes the Denver Broncos and Dish Network, and brings his extensive CFO and controllership experience to Redbarre. He is an expert in diverse financial matters including: Public Debt Offerings and Private Placement Memorandums, real estate project development, ownership valuation, business and personal tax matters, business performance metrics, and an expert witness on several financial litigation matters.

Arthur Andersen & Co. (1980 -1985). Allen was an auditor of various manufacturing, oil and gas partnerships, and other oil field-related organizations.

Dish Network (1985 – 1997) (NASDAQ: DISH). Vice President – Treasurer – Controller. During Allen’s years with DISH and its predecessor entity EchoStar Communications Corporation, he was actively involved in securing DISH’s initial public offering and debt offerings, totaling over $1 billion. Allen was also President of EchoStar’s consumer finance company, Echo Acceptance Corporation.

Denver Broncos Football Club (1997 – 2003). CFO. Allen’s primary task was the development of the Broncos’ current stadium. He principally negotiated the franchise’s $125 million line of credit, closed a $150 million construction loan and secured a $180 million permanent loan.  Allen also oversaw negotiations for the Broncos’ lease with the Denver Metropolitan Football Stadium District, monitored construction progress and negotiated contracts for architecture, general contracting, concessions, naming rights, sponsorships, suites, club seats and facility operations.

National Sports Services (2004-2007). As the CFO, Allen provided diverse consulting services to sports facilities, franchises and municipalities. In 2005, he prepared detailed analyses of all player contracts for the Minnesota Vikings, and modeled post acquisition cash flows and projected financial results of the franchise. The $600+ million acquisition closed in June 2005.

American Trainco (AT) and Telemedia Trainco Holdings, LLC (2008-2016). CFO. Allen provided the financial leadership for the sale of AT in 2014 to Telemedia Trainco Holdings, forming an over $30 million worldwide annual revenue organization. At closing, he became CFO for the combined entity, responsible for Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources and Customer Service. Responsibilities included managing staff in multiple cities, completion of the first ever audit, filing tax returns in all 50 states, and establishing a fully integrated cloud-based financial system. The organization served to train industrial workers to maintain machinery, observe safety precautions and comply with government regulations.

CFO to a rapidly growing provider of thousands of technical content live training programs for industrial companies throughout the United States and Canada. In 2013-2014, provided strategic tactical support to the owners of American Trainco (AT) who sold their over $20 million annual revenue company to Telemedia Trainco Holdings, LLC (TTH) in July 2014.  At closing, TTH also acquired Telemedia, LLC, a $15 million annual revenue self-study industrial worker training company based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois with significant multi-national customers. The combined operations train industrial workers to maintain and operate complex machinery, observe safety precautions and comply with government regulations.

At closing, became CFO of the entire TTH organization requiring leadership of the Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources and Customer Services disciplines. Implemented fully integrated cloud- based financial and reporting systems. In the case of Telemedia, there were no developed financial reporting systems. The transaction required annual audits of TTH and its interests, the first in their history, which was completed as of December 31, 2014.
